blurriness tends to hide the dings, so I'm guessing MS-63

Agree on MS-63. The light bag marks takes the grade down a pinch. I don't see much wear on the cheek and high spots. And the strike was decent if you want to compare against most other 1960 to 1964 nickels.

That missing bit of ear detail where it is flat is not wear, it's from the planchet not fully filling out the die (the strike); however, that is typical of 1960 to 64 nickels due to the Mints having cranked these things out in mass to keep up with a crazy collector hoarding craze that ended in '64. I have a 1960D graded nickel at MS64 which has slightly less bag marks with a bit more detail in the ear.
