Not sure if this is just Die wear or like a very very late die state capped die or some sort of strike thu it weighs 5g so normal weight its a unc coin probably MS64 not sure about the error or if its common to see this on Jefferson's had it a while let me know what you think

It's a Very Late Die State coin with severe Die Deterioration on the obverse die. This was caused by striking a ton of planchets at the U.S. Mint. It would make a great education piece. Worthy of a 2x2.

Think it would be worth putting in a $10 icg holder was thinking about putting it in my next group of coins I send to them

The dies take quite a beating when they are continued to be used past retirement.
