Did you add mint mark error to your thread title? I just noticed the contact mark on the '9'. On the mint mark, it took a hit on the east side of the mint mark bending it a bit. The mark to the west is a stain. (A mint mark would be raised, that is not raised) SW of the mint mark there is a raised area that might be a die dot, or a very small chip. So nothing collectable on this one. Otherwise a normal coin.

the 1969-D minmark location varies more than most years, yours is one of the lower-positioned Ds

I have added it this time, but you should include the date, mintmark, and the denomination in your titles.

Why Topic Titles are Important

The title of your topic is very important. Let's say you need help attributing an 1896 Morgan Dollar....

  • Horrendous: Help!

  • Bad: Need help with coin

  • Better: Need help with Morgan Dollar

  • Good: Need help with 1896 Morgan Dollar

  • Awesome: Need help with VAM on 1896 Morgan Dollar

This enables the members with expertise pertaining to your question to easily find and answer your question. The title of the topic also becomes the title of the topic's web page, which enables us to attract more collectors to the site. The more members we have, the more we learn.
