I am almost 100% sure that this coin was artificially toned.

The colors are more rich in color than the pictures indicate, especially the reverse. Probably will keep it because it "just looks nice".

Are there aspects of artificially toned coins?

Thanks. I was never a fan of toned coins until I saw some beautiful ones. I guess my favorites are the matte proof toned coins.
