Hi all, was really craving a non-toned uncirculated Morgan dollar and got one from my LCS. They like me there, so I got it for $40 instead of the $45 they had it listed at, but was curious about what people thought about a numerical grade. I hope the pictures are ok and also not sure if I would need to take it out of the 2x2. Thanks for looking and any opinions!

MS64+, one or two hits shy of 65.

Edit to add - I believe it to be a VAM-21A.

MS63. Looks solid. I think the hits on cheek are too much for 64 but its a good looking coin.

Nice 63, you got a good deal on this one! Cheek/neck stops me from going higher. Could be the plastic making it look worse than it is.

Solid MS 63. The obverse contact marks on the cheek, lower cap fold, neck, and in the fields in front of the forehead and below the cap fold and reverse rim contacts at 11 and 2 o'clock are just a bit too much for a 64.

Your coin has great eye appeal. It's a no-problem 63.

the 83-O strike is known for a softer strike so this one is above average for strike. I think shes a solid MS64. btw nice photos
