You got to factor in the shipping price as shipping isn't cheap these days in particular if you wish to buy in bulk. You might want to drop by your local coin / bullion dealer if they happened to be close by and do a price comparison.

Well here is the answer to your question:
http://www.kitco.com/ &
http://www.apmex.com/ are the best websites that I have found.

That being said, I would check the local yellow pages for any coin/jewelry/pawn shops that say something about gold bullion in their adds. Thats what I did, and the place I found sold me 50 oz of silver for spot. I had to give him $10 over for each kugerrand though...

You can also set up a pool account through Kitco. You do not actually take physical possession of the silver but that certainly keeps costs much lower and makes it easier to sell quickly.

Also check out if there are any coin shows in your area. I usually don't find bullion at such shows but if you talk to dealers I'm sure they could get as much as you want. Worth a try.

thanks a bunch. Yeah my coin shop overprices bullion alot, so I steer away from them in that area.

Coin shows in my area only come 2 a year from what I have seen One in october and I missed the one in july

Southern WI sucks for coin shows
Rest in Peace

I would wait on buying silver. So far today the price per ounce has dropped $1.12 to $13.02.
