Fair-Price-For-A-Sweden-1/2-Ortug-Sten-Sture-The-Younger-1512-1520?

This is the coin and tag from 10-20 years ago. The company was Pegasus Numismatics.

The original price was $350, and was declared scarce. I am inclined to agree with the scarce designation Since I cannot find the item in Numista or any other on-line sites.

I agree that seems like a reasonable price, although I'm a little out of my league here. You may be interested in this *.pdf on academia.edu by David Ruckser, which shows a similar coin, but without the bar on the letter S.

Thanks. I actually saw that-it was a different type but dated, and with a hole, and sold for 725 Euro.

That document described it as: Lagerqvist 7 a. (I assume that this is the L reference on the ticket), Scarce. Holed, but VF condition.

This is for a dealer friend of mine: I don't want to suggest a price of $350 if it could get 5 times that. I won't be buying it in any case.
