RogerRamjet Valued Member United States 172 Posts	Posted 03/09/2019 10:13 pm GrapeCollects is correct. If the anomaly is gouged into the surface of the coin, it's a post mint damage ( PMD) scratch. If it's raised above the surface of the coin, it reflects a gouge in the surface of the die and is potentially of interest to an error collector. Report this Post to the Staff

Its raised up like it was minted ther,after looking at it again and looking at an actual ( PMD) scratch on the same coin you can slightly tell that theyre different! IMO that is! With so little know about this probably not a big premium, but one to hang onto, for future interest. To the right person it could bring a premium. But finding him might take some time.
