If this is an error what would it be called!!..i just recently started searching my pocket change and found this after getting gas today

GrapeCollects is correct. If the anomaly is gouged into the surface of the coin, it's a post mint damage ( PMD) scratch. If it's raised above the surface of the coin, it reflects a gouge in the surface of the die and is potentially of interest to an error collector.

I guess it is kinda hard to tell in picture!..but I can can promise its raised I dont have a way to check up closer as I only have my cell phone

Idk if theyre any better but I tried!!..and I took one with a filter maybe itll help you see that the line dont go through the pillars! Its raised up like it was minted ther,after looking at it again and looking at an actual ( PMD) scratch on the same coin you can slightly tell that theyre different! IMO that is! But if I was 100% I wouldnt be asking for help lol

Not a clue. It is probably the only die affected with this. With so little know about this probably not a big premium, but one to hang onto, for future interest. To the right person it could bring a premium. But finding him might take some time.

Ive been collecting for about 6 months and I think its the most interesting find ive got so far!..i just got a 1946 wheat pennie last night! And I got a 1901 wheat pennie which was the coin that started my collectoin lol
