Wow, has that coin seen a lot of circulation. I'm surprised the date shows as much as it does in that condition.
I would agree that is a Poor 1.

Am I wrong or is this really a Half Cent ..... 1802/0? Looking closely at the reverse it looks to me to say Half Cent (very faintly).

johnjkedel - I make out a 1 for the top fraction on the reverse if it was a Half Cent that would be a 2. Nice PO1 coin, no real damage or environmental issues, just honest old wear.

Westcoin - shouldn't there be a 1 above the line and 200 below the line? .... unless I am misunderstanding you.

Senior moment, I guess I can have those now, AARP just sent me an invitation too. LOL 1/100 and 1/200 you are right I was mistaken. But the size should give it away at 23 mm same as my beloved Two Cent Pieces.
