I think that I may have found an RPD. If so, this is my first one. What do you think? Looks better under a loop than from these pics.

During the strike the plating split on the SE area of the mint mark. The zinc under the platting is get oxygen and now breaking down.

No premium for these as it is a normal coin, not a coin variety. Just a coin that is living out its days with zinc rot. Spend it.

If you see zinc rot/spliting on other devices on a coin you are consider buying, pass. They will continue to get worse with time. What you are looking for is a coin that will be worth more later on. These will be like buying a sinking ship.
