I think I might have me an error coin can you please tell me if I'm correct or not I have a 2002 State Quarter coin and I think there is an eagle head on Washington's face wouldn't that be the coolest.. LOL. I am new to coin collecting but I really really like it and if I can get some help with this it would be greatly appreciated I will post pictures now.

Looks like Post Strike Damage to me.
Errers and Varietys.

Not an error, just damage. PMDIt is only considered an error if it was done during the striking of the coin. Anything after that, as in the case of your coin is classed as damage.

What does the reverse look like. It looks like a dimple below that area. If the coin had been hit with a punch on the reverse, any value could be lost as the coin maybe damaged. (Looks more like a Toucan.)
