Okay...this dime was found today. Can anyone help explain what happens in this scenario and if this makes this coin valubel a valuable?

To me, those do not look like strike issues, it looks like PSD to me = a spender

Certainly wasn't done at the Mint, just damage, so unless you were there when
it happened, it is hard to say exactly what happened to it.

Okay...thanks for the feedback. I thought PSD at first till I noticed the "In GOD We Trust", the mint mark,the date & the edging is stretch (manipulated) in ways of that only a machine could do at POSSIBLY the time of creation.

Also, it was suggested to me on another post that there is a forum that helps in the area of quality in a coin. Can anyone point me in that direction?

US Coin Grading on the sidebar.
