*** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***So, I've got a question that hopefully someone can answer for me. I have an Uncirculated 1988 Mint Washington quarter that has what I believe to be a DDO "In God We Trust" seems pretty doubled to me. Just needing some clarification and maybe a value? any guidance is well appreciated. Edited by Jrogers88 03/17/2019 10:36 am

To the CCF Without a clear photo showing the doubling, there is no way of telling as there are various forms of doubling. Many people think they have a DD when in fact it is MD.

There are no reported DDO's for the date to my knowledge. Coins made for circulation get little attention so it's not impossible you have a discovery coin.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.

@JR88, first welcome to CCF. Second, here is a link to the tutorial on uploading pics. I look forward to seeing what you have there. Also, I'm going to recommend to the mods that your thread be moved over to the varieties and errors section of CCF. https://www.coincommunity.com/forum...g-images.asp

Ok thx for posting this picture. The shelf-like appearance to the doubling makes me think that you have MD instead of a DDO.

Ok, thanks all for the info. Would anyone have any knowledge of Silver Certificates as well? I have a '53 series or '57 series $1 bill and was wondering if there is any significance with the serial number on it? It begins and ends with 'A'. Every note I've seen personally has began and ended with and different letter. This is the first one I've seen with the same letter at beginning and end.

ok thanks for the info. I receive coins in the mail just about every week so I'll have more to discuss soon. Speaking of I should have a Bicentennial Ike dollar with doubling 'United States of America' on reverse graded at an MS66. Will Def have to post pics as soon as it arrives!
