Hey, everybody!

So, I have another coin that I felt like I should share and get some feedback as to if I have anything special.

This is a 1938 S Nickel that looks like it has a number of different errors.

On the obverse, most notably is what looks likes a Cud error over the 3 in the date, and, what looks like really visible doubling with each of the other numbers.

Less obvious is seen after really zooming in onto Jefferson's face - near his mouth there seems to be a whole other mouth in what looks like more doubling. Or maybe I'm seeing things.

Now, the real treat is on the reverse. Almost immediately we see a lamination error on the upper right of the coin. (It is a lamination error, right?)

This is joined by what looks like an RPM or doubling with the S mintmark

But, please tell me what you all think.

Basically, I see staining and post-mint circulation damage.

Sorry but I kinda agree with the frog. The date and Monticello both look gouged, the mintmark seems battered, and there is a scratch on Jefferson's cheek.

Incuse marks on a coin is not an error, about 90% of the time. It is usually a sign of damage. There are a few errors that are out there, but more are just coin damage and your coin is an example of that.

Nothing special here. Just a damaged coin showing Post Strike Damage ( PSD).
