!!WARNING, MEGA POST INCOMING!!

This was a page of tokens, slugs, and "collector" coins.

There's lots of collecting supplies and tools I'd love to go to a good home or new/young collector.

There are a decent amount of pre-Canada coins from Upper Canada, Newfoundland, PEI, NS, and NB.

Plenty of the items inside were "related" to the hobby - membership cards, pins, and club tokens and badges.

Hard to see, but this is a bag of various foreign coins. Mexican, Greek, German, Netherlands, and a few odd ones. Some of these are sleeved, many are just loose.

Newfoundland coins - several pages

Of course he also had a set of Canadian Tire cash.

There are a few nice-condition foreign banknotes in the collection

THE BIN (Scary!)

There were many of these Proof-sets.

There are a few USA banknotes in a binder, in excellent shape, but I'm not sure if they're particularly valuable as far as their value.

One of several of the "Olympic" sets that were in the bin.

This was the Canada half-dollar binder

Half-dollar binder - this seemed fairly complete with only a few years missing up to modern time.

This was a second bag of foreign coins - there didn't seem to be much theme to them, except they were mostly Greek, German, Mexican, and the Netherlands. A few Francs.

Canadian Nickels - this seemed fairly complete, although he had some "duplicates" from some years, presumably alternate designs

Canadian Nickels - see other shots, but this seemed fairly complete with only a few years "missing"

Canadian Dimes - like the others, the binder seemed fairly full, with only a few "holes".

Canada dollar coins - these are all sleeved and well-marked, and most coins are in excellent shape.

Canadian Quarters!

Canadian Quarters part 1 - these were all well-kept, sleeved, and most are in great shape.

There were many of these "collector" boards for quarters, some Millenium ones, and similar. I have all of the cards for the ones that weren't in them, but MOST were still in their original packaging.

There are these proof/specimen sets for every year back through the early 70's. All of them have their sleeves and packaging.

Some years have an extra Proof coin, but not all. These all have their packaging.

Dad had several sets of these olympic coins, from what seems to be both Montreal and Calgary.

What's this...?

It's another Olympic set, there are several of these, all with their packaging intact.

Oh, no.

There are several of these less-organized books - I think these were my Uncle's, who passed them on to my dad.

I think these are near-complete - these are the proof-life sets for Canada, and date back to 1960.

I think these are near-complete from 1960 on - these are the proof-life sets for Canada, and date back to 1960.

Pennies! There aren't many holes in this binder, so I'm not sure what was missing.

Canada pennies! This seems fairly complete, with not many holes "missing"

There are a few "misc" binder pages like these, that I'm not sure what the theme was.

This was what I could only describe as a "misc" page, I'm not sure what the theme of this one was (if any)

This was another "misc" page, I'm not sure what the theme was, or if these were errors or something else.

Most years back to the mid-70's have these in-box Proof sets - most have their sleeves and packaging, but they're all in perfect shape. Several years (but not all) have "special edition" or alternate sets.

25-cent notes from the dominion.

There were a fair amount of tubes of what I only assume are coins for their silver - the one I'm holding are Nickels, all pre-1967.

There were several of these long boxes of "misc" stuff, presumably just items dad hadn't sorted yet. Some foreign coins, some Canadian stuff, and some were sleeved. The pennies just seemed random.

Oh my god, the BIN.

This was a binder of "misc" things - some USA coins, a Planchet, and some collector tokens and municipal tokens/dollars.

These were several items I could only figure they'd be worth their face value - I doubt anyone's collecting old school hundreds.

50's - several pages

5's - several pages

2's - several pages

This was one of a few of these gold coins I'd mentioned. The others are mostly boxed.

10's - several pages

There's a fair amount of 1-dollar bills, but most of the Canadian ones' value seems close to face.

1 dollar notes - several pages
OH NO, STAMPS

Dad had many of these "collection" stamp books, dating back from the mid-70's to 2008. These are complete and in perfect shape.

There's lots of "binder" stamps as well, from Canada, the US, and some foreign ones too.

Oh man, the stamps.
