Was I bidding against any of you on this one? It cost me about $70 more than the last bu example I purchased, but it could be worth a lot more. Can't wait to get it in hand. It looks to have a strong obverse and reverse!

Yea we'll see in a couple days. It's worth the risk to me because these are worth a lot in 64RB. Grape you have been right before about a cleaned coin. I just knew I would kick myself later if I let it go. Worst case I'll send it back.

Hard to fully gauge from those angled pictures, the color in hand could be quite different. Looks to be at least 63BN. An amazing strike!

Pictures are poor.
You took a chance.
Might only be AU.

Reason I say cleaned? Look at the obverse. Even with these photos you can see an inconsistant color. The browns aren't melding correctly. The right have has a pinkish brown hue to it. The high points on the left devices on the reverse are a different shade then the rest of the coin as well. Could be lighting.

I'm guessing it is cleaned.

If the Seller thought for one second this coin had a shot at 64 it would have been sent in for TPG a long time ago.

All this stuff makes sense guys. I bought a similar coin a few months ago with bad pics and I really scored on a uncleaned, uncirculated RB 1925 S. I had similar comments before I received the coin. BadThad was the closest guess before I got it last time. Hopefully he's right again and western sky I'm hoping that the seller doesn't know what he has. I buy multiple coin a week where this is the case.

These pics don't show anything conclusive. We'll have to wait.

Sorry for the late response on this. It's spring break here and I've been busy. Whoever guessed au details was correct. I already sent it back and got a refund. I've got another coin coming in the mail on Monday. We'll see about that one
