The 001 is a class 6 DDO with widened '944' on the date. Note the inward movement on the '44' near the cross member. http://www.varietyvista.com/01a%20L...4SDDO001.htm Here are a few Class 6 doubled dies I put together to show the doubling on the 44 this year. (I know they are not the die in question, but it shows what a normal die and the class 6 doubled die looks like on the '44'.
