coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 03/26/2019 9:16 pm Some will use a mirror to show both sides of the coin in the same image: If the U.S. coin is normal, with the obverse horizontal, the reverse will be upside down in the mirror. This coin shows a rotated coin as the reverse is not upside down. As mentioned, Other countries have them differently called metal alignment. Thus when you look at a Canadian cent in a mirror, they obverse and reverse will appear normal. We call it "Coin Alignment here for U.S. coins.
