Bonn New Member Philippines 28 Posts	Posted 03/26/2019 10:31 pm I search on the catalog if the 20 sen from malaysia coin change the design. Just wonder in 2006 the letters in "M_A_L_A_Y_S_I _A" is far each other. Is this one of the variety of the coin? What you think? Report this Post to the Staff

Interestingly, I don't see this variety mentioned on the numista page for this coin: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces1658.html Consider reaching out to them to add it! Tanman2001 Pillar of the Community United States 4396 Posts	Posted 03/27/2019 06:59 am These coins are all different years, it is possible (and likely) that the design was changed between years. The 2002 definitely has a different design, notice how the middle point of the M is even with the bottom of the left and right side. The 2006 appears different but I believe it is due to Die Deterioration making the letters thinner. Not a change in design. Report this Post to the Staff
