I received this in change today from a Wawa. I was surprised at the age and wondered how long its been in and out of circulation. There is definitely a lot of wear. I'll probably keep as an oddity as I don't think there is any premium over FV.

It looks like it was dipped into acid. Note the weaker cladding on the coin. It looks altered to me.
