Of all the coins in my collection, this one has to be my favorite: Sorry for the substandard images - I can't afford a nice camera.

no fooling here I unearthed this one about a dozen years ago; I like the oddball denomination 1s.6d., a token not often seen

Getting it down to 12 isn't easy. Great posts so far! This is Wild Bill Hickoka 1972 Longines Symphonette sterling medal that has the reverse of the Battle of Wounded Knee medal from the same series. Rare? I have not seen any other mules from this series yet. If they are out there, it could be easily overlooked. I show the other two for comparison.

Not my prettiest or even a favorite, but this is one of my most sentimental as it is the one that got me stated back on the coin kick after years of losing interest. I got a job as a cashier during college so I could save up and get my own car, and despite years of change-checking for silver dimes and quarters as a kid, I had lost interest in coins altogether. One day I noticed this in my till on account of his beat up it was, and luckily had some change on me to swap for it. I then started looking for more old coins every day, which led to roll hunting and then a genuine, passionate interest.

TNG. That's a unique error. Must have been struck late on a Friday.

Looks like no one appreciated my April Fool's joke earlier so I will post my actual favorite from the small group of coins currently in my care. This is one that I wanted to get for a long time. I waited for the best I could afford to be a winner. I think this one would probably upgrade if I were to pursue that, but I don't chase grade. This is also the official mascot coin of my local coin club.

USSID. I love the Oregon Trail Commemorative half. I have that one in my 7070. Nice. This next one is more sentimental than anything else. I was 7 years old when our family moved to a new house. The year was 1977. Our real estate woman gave me this coin in a small jewelry box. That was my first counterstamped LMC. Thanks to that act of kindness I now have a collection of hundreds of counterstamped LMC, LWC And IHCs.
