I really wish I cld figure this image optimizer out for sum better pics but altho I'm new to coin collecting ive been tryin really hard to b able to spot the differences in the doubling. This one the has me stumped because in a few areas there is clearly a double stamp. The O and D in God. The U and S in trust and the 8 n the date. Need help

Nox not a Doubled Die. Just Die Deterioration Doubling, caused by a worn die issue, from striking a ton of planchets at the U.S. Mint. This type of doubling is not collectable.

Check on this link. You will see the dates in black and the dates/mints in blue that there is actually a doubled die listed for those years. Note there are only 6 years/mintmarks that show listings of quarter of DDO's in the 1980 and 1990's. So doubled dies are very few on these. On the States quarters and the ATB Quarters, the only affected areas on these are usually on the centers of the designs. Earlobes on the obverse and centers of the designs on the reverses. Just a couple so far that I know of that have stronger doubled dies. So keep in mind, there are very few doubled dies, except in the centers of the designs on the quarters. You will always find lots of machine doubled coins and die deteriorated coins, but very few DDO and DDRs.
