I know very little about coins and not really into collecting them. I do know that I have some very valuable coins. The question is around the "error" items. Where do I find information about what they are truly worth? One cool thing I put together is a 1909 S - 1909 S VDB and a 1909 VDB. Have all 3 and all in fantastic shape. Should make for a real valuable set I think. Where should I go to sale my collection?

to CCF! The 1909-S VDB Should get slabbed. The 09'-s can get sold on ebay as is. The 1909VDB unless it's in MSRD won't go for that much. Those would help us ballpark a bit better

Don't clean or wipe any of these.
Handle with soft cotton gloves.
Ideally, pictures out of the holders and 2x2's will help as well.

looking forward to better photos. They all look like great condition. Best if you can use a tripod or way to steady the photo, try to fill the frame and make the coin as flat on all sides (perpendicular) to the camera lens. Light indoors at about 45-60 degrees at 10 & 2, like hands on the steering wheel. Selling the coins depends on how quickly you need the money. Not in a huge hurry, and the coins would benefit being certified I'd look into Great Collections who will submit and certify then sell at auction. (Heritage, Stack's/Bowers, etc.) consign to a popular and safe auction firm, they can submit coins as well. Need quick money, then your location helps so we can provide a reliable and honest dealer near you. Stay away from pawn shops, and buy gold type shops. Keep them and build the collection? Lots to learn and you may have a lot of coins to upgrade or focus on. Coin collecting is fun and sometimes profitable. Anything in the collection excite you or make you curious more than how much is it worth?

.... to the Community! We look forward to your continued active participation! You may have to remove your coins from their holders to achieve the photo quality we need to help you. Take your time and be very careful handling your coins. Do not clean your coins or try to make them look better!

Looks like you have some nice Lincoln Cents there . But they need some careful attention . They are all raw ; meaning they were never authenticated for being genuine and never graded by a professional grading service like PCGS or NGC . So you have some work cut out for you . First thing is to find a reputable coin dealer that's been at the same location ( since the earth was created ) Joke , but not really . Talk to the owner or head manager only . You need to ask them if they can submit these coins for you to a well known grading company . You need only the 1909-S and the 1909-S-VDB ,the other coin is not worth the price . Be prepaired to pay the dealer a small fee for his time and service . I'm not going to make this post any longer than I already have ,so when you get these coins back post photos on CCF again and we can guide you on your next move .

Since you indicate you are interested in selling, you can save time by going through GreatCollections.com They will take care of getting the coins graded, and their auctions are among the best in the industry. You can visit their website and/or call them for more information. I have sold tens of thousands of dollars worth of coins through them, and they are top notch. BTW, I am not affiliated with them in any way.
