Even genuine "nothing" is expensive. Not buying a "nothing" coin is free, and you have the same thing - nothing! This shows how labeling "nothing" turns it into something expensive, even though it's still nothing.

Was this the coin featured in the "Seinfeld" TV episode called "The Nothing Coin," where an unslabbed version got lost and couldn't be found because of its "Who's on First" description? Or was it multiplied (unslabbed) in the magpie's stash in the last episode of "The Detectorists"?

I'm not sure how meaningful it is to grade an unstruck planchet. However, it would be an interesting item to add to my collection if the price were right.

Exactly...and it was put in a slab not for the grade but for the authentication which is a very common practice

I don't get the point of the "nothing"

Agreed about authentication. I'm really not sure where the nothing thing was going either.

What is nowhere but everywhere, except where something is?

What I want, the poor have, the rich need, and if you eat it you will die...

Nothing.

Riddler riddles aside, Seinfeld was a show about nothing.

You either get it or you do not.
