I keep coins in this sort of condition, but NOT in the main body of my collection.

Sometimes, they can be bought really cheaply.
In this sort of situation the value, (still at a very low level), can be doubled with a full identification and description.
That is why I usually keep them.

Not bad things - can clearly see the design.

First one reads 'GLOR[IA EXERCITVS]' - Glory of the Army, and shows two roman soldiers guarding a standard. The other side is the emperor and what is left of the legend shows us that they had a short name, which means this shows Constans. On the back at the bottom is a mintmark, which seems to have survived, so if you can get a good picture (or read the letter) we might be able to tell you where it was made.

The other one reads 'VICTORIAE D AVGG Q NN' - Victory for our two emperors, and shows two victories (1 per emperor, perhaps) facing, holding wreaths. This type was issued by Constans and Constantius II and again, by length of the legend alone, I believe this one is Constans. I think the mintmark reads [SM]TSA, meaning this was issued by the Thessalonica mint. The literature reference is RIC VIII Thessalonica 100 (A). Heres a link to a clearer example on wildwinds:

No problem.

Oriole - I always like a good ID challenge and I'm sure Bob will be able to sort out anything I can't.
