I just recently posted about getting back into coin roll hunting, exclusively with pennies for the time being.

I don't know too much of what to look for besides wheaties and anything older. I do keep the 2009's, because why not and then anything that I think looks unique or really shiny :D

I managed to snag 15 wheaties and 2 Canadian coins on the day. My best find was a 1926, which is my oldest coin yet! It was pretty beat up, but definitely a treasure for me.

I don't roll hunt, but I save and separate by the following:

1) everything copper 1982 and earlier
2) wheats
3) Really nice examples of anything 1983+ (rare but every once in a while you will see one)

Lots of people also search for errors but not something I do.
