Two different issues. Normal die with die wear. On the DDD (Die-Deterioration-Doubling) the die is aging. Thus when you look at the fields on the date, it will be on the right side of the devices, on LIBERTY it will be on the left side of the devices and on the motto on the tops of the devices. The die was showing wear and it is mostly in the direction of the closest rims. The other issue is split plating on the mint mark. So if you don't see the same thing as I mentioned in towards the closest rims, then it could be just a very strong strike instead of DDD. But is in not a DDO. Why? Because the devices aren't enlarged. They are normal sized. Wexler has two DDO's for this year. This WDDO-001 is a DDO on the mint mark. The second one is on the motto. http://doubleddie.com/834518.html You can look at these to see what to look for on this years DDOs'.
