I was pleasantly surprised that a branch gave me rolls of loonies in the clear plastic wrapper (the ones that are used for new coins) which were from 2017 - centennial release.


They received it in a box from the their regular shipment.


This gives me hope that I might find some coloured toonies from last year

I don't think you will find cases of the poppy day toonies around, the colour ones were sold for 100 bucks a roll at recent shows, everyone knew that these toonies were worth more than face right from the beginning, also it's a small mintage as toonies go, but never hurts to ask.
