I think MAD.

Looks more like a MAD coin. I'm not seeing a partial collar: Where the collar is, is where the metal is contained. I'm not seeing that on your coin. Note where the collar has reeds, they appear, where not in the collar, the metal is not contained.

Thank you Spence for your input! I have emailed Mike Diamond about this one, so he can weight in on it. Coop, are you sure it's a MAD? In the first picture, you can see the collar if you look closely.

Thanks everyone.... learning has occurred over here I hope I don't use the same learning technique as I did in grade school... in one ear and out the other.

@E&V, of course whatever @MD says is what goes--I'm a pure amateur compared with him. With that said, I saw what you are talking about with that slight potential step on the edge. I was thinking that these were much more prominent when coins were struck partially in the collar. Either way, I'm interested to see the end result on this one.

I'll be waiting for him to respond. I think it might be a Partial Collar strike, but I am not 100% sure. There's slight stepping on the edge.

The coin does show a misaligned die error (MAD) toward the northeast. Even though the photo of the edge is inadequate for purposes of analysis, I suspect it does show a partial collar error. MADs and partial collar errors often go together, because the misaligned hammer die tends to force the collar down below the level of the coin's obverse face.

Ok very nice to know that these two mint errors often occur together. Thx @MD!

Thank you Mike Diamond for your comment and input! I'll label it as both on the non PVC 2x2 flip. It's also good to know that both can occur at the same time.
