On the other hand as a contemporary counterfeit it DOES have a collector value to those of us who are interested in such things. More value than a genuine common Barber dime in that condition would have.

Thanks for all the replies... I dont know if this makes a difference but the coin is slightly bent on the lower right side, looking from the back. But a nice coin for conversation, yes.
