Im leaning towards PMD but its got very even luster all over the coin so not 100% sure it looks like someone may have just used a machine to remove the rim not sure how this could happen at the mint but let me know what you think thank you

Seems to have been pressed into an encasement at some point. Basically altered after strike. Thanks, Doug.

When these coins are removed from the holders, they are just damaged coins. Best to leave them in holders. At least they have more value when they are left there, rather than just a damage coin.
