1972 Roosevelt Dime No Mint Mark... Valuable?

NeedYou2rescue New Member United States 6 Posts	Posted 04/19/2019 1:44 pm I have recently found a 1972 Roosevelt dime that is lacking any sign of having a mint mark. I have not been able to find any details on the internet about this except for one other person asking the same question on a different web site 4 weeks ago, there shows no response to their question. Does anybody know anyting she's literally about this error if that's what it is? I will add pictures as soon as I'm able to. Report this Post to the Staff

Biedercoins Pillar of the Community United States 1601 Posts	Posted 04/19/2019 3:43 pm It wasn't until 1980 they started putting the "P" mintmark on R. dimes. However, there are some post '79 dimes out there that lack mintmarks. There's currently a 1982 "No P" dime for sale on ebay. Report this Post to the Staff

I have seen them on an auction site for as much as $350. it happened on years 70 to 75 proof only. Report this Post to the Staff

It's a business strike coin. Your coin is a business strike coin. No mirrored fields on them. That is the difference. Report this Post to the Staff
