got this coin in change, looks stained but , rim has no silver color , part of the clad is missing.is 2.3 grams. any input

Not an error, just Environmentally Damaged. It's Post Strike Damage ( PSD).

looks stained yes , but why is there no silver color in the rim ? gave it a bath and it's still the same can it be , or are there part clad coins ?

@cm, the error-ref site shows a couple examples. If the cladding was truly missing, then I think that the surface would look more like a peeled lam. On your coin, the transition between colors seems smooth.

That would depend on whether the cladding was lost pre or post strike.
