The RPM is not visble there on the OP's coin. (A close, view would be a bit more helpful) But that year had a lot of mintmark punch damage showing that year. I feel that is what the OP is seeing on his coin. Note the angle of the RPM on the bottom of the CC example? Totally a different direction on the example posted on this thread.
