Need help identifying Error.
There's a line that passes from bottom side left of thesuit and up through the "Y" and continues by the head but that looks like his hair. Could a be a MD or wht kind of error do u see. Thanks in advance.

I'm just seeing damage that occurred after it left the U.S. Mint.

@76e, a line like this wouldn't be MD, but could be a linear plating bubble, scratch, or die crack. I can't tell from your pics--is this line in relief (raised above the surface of the coin) or incuse?

What can cause a raised area on the fields next to a device, is when the die is polished, the surface near a device gets reduced too much on the edge near the device being polished. Reduction on the die, will leave a raised area on the field.
