I've collected about 75% of the Elizabeth IIs, and 5-10 George VI from US circulation. For a book, I use an unmarked harris 'cents' folder with 90 slots. I don't like the folders printed specifically for Canadian cents, because they start at 1920, which is too early for my needs. They include the George V coins (1920-1936) which I've never found. I wish they'd start at 1937 (the first George VI). The site I've bookmarked as a reference is Canadian Small Cents. If there's a more thorough site for beginners, I'd like to know. WheatieFan

FreezerBurn - thanks for the info! I've figured out all the varieties except the 2006 RCM - what does the RCM stand for?

FreezerBurn, Where did you get the PCGS list? I'd like to look at it for the 5c, 10c, and 25c denominations as well. It seems a very good place to start.

There are six of the 2006 types, and one is as scrce as hen's teeth! I believe it is the non-magnetic, no "P", no logo. It could be the same, except magnetic. Best use a magnet on all of them. As far as fillimng a folder from rolls of US cents, Only if you are an im-mortal! Especially if you live close th the border, Mexican border, that is! LOL

Let me know what years you guys need. LOL I live 20 miles away from Canada and I see a cent in every roll almost. Last $20 roll search gave me 10 canada cents.

With all of the cents that I have been going through lately, surprisingly I just started trying to put together a Canadian set. In just 10 days I already have about 75% of the post 1960 issues (although I was not aware of all of the varieties listed in the PCGS registry). The earliest I've found is a 1929, and I found a 1933 a few days after that.
PS: Trying to do this from Central Kentucky!

Uncommoncents:
"It took me forever to find the 1938 in change, but I did. How easy it to assemble this set in Canada? Do the older issues still circulate?" It's tough to find any cents older than early 60's here. Every now and then you find one from the 50's or 40's but not very often. I have never found an older style cent from 1920 - 36, But who knows, Maybe you guys will get lucky down there. Shawn

coppernickeldaddy, said, "Trying to do this from Central Kentucky," Man! That is amazing, finding a 1929 and a 1933 Canadian cent in rolls, I never find one that old in Canada. But, I find quite a few Wheaties.

I've actually been working on this for a while now, and have gotten pretty far with it. I'll have to dig out my album and list what I've got, but I know that I have everything from 1937 to 1988 for sure.
