1982 zinc error coin maybe I'm new to this so is the 1982 zinc 2.5g worth anything or not because it's in pretty rough condition! Thank you!

It's worth 1 cent. A whole variety set sold on ebay of the 7 varieties of 1982 in BU condition would probably net you a few bucks though. One of them is worth more than the others ( I don't remember which one is the rarer one) but we are still talking like a buck or two in low MS grade.

that's called Zinc Rot and will just continue to get worse.
Dispose of it.

Possibly someone punctured the coin with a straight pin. This allowed the zinc to be exposed. Then zinc rot set in on the coin. So now it's a damaged coin. Not a mint error.
