A set of Morgans in exceptionally high grade (for our standards) suddenly appeared today. They do not look like the Chinese fakes I have pictures of, but still I'd like you express your opinions on them.. in fact you're my only hope
1. Are they genuine?
2. Is the toning artificial?
3. Other thoughts, observations, suggestions.
The seller has provided quite good photos and you can find them here:

I guess it's better to post a link instead of reducing the photo sizes and posting every single coin here. The full size photos are almost 200kB.
My question regards the AU/uncirculated Morgans - the 1882S and further on, listed below the 500.000 banknote (there are other coins listed at the moment).

Rest in Peace

You know, the coins look good, but off somehow, like they may be cast instead of struck. A BU coin will still look brand new even at 100+ years. Appears that some are purposely being made to look old. Toning does not look natural. Even has a "check mark" on the 1880 AU coin, as to say it didn't pass for BU. As far as authenticity, I say no, copies, fakes, looks like the seller is trying a bit to hard, to prove them old!
Hope I'm wrong, others with more Morgan knowledge should be along soon, the pictures are big so you can see detail. Maybe they can spot some markers for the particular years and shed more light on these!

The surface looks polished to me. The toning looks AT. You can see fingerprint of whatever stuff was applied. I'd stay away.

Here's a shot of the upper portion of the reverse of the 82-s while below it is the same shot of a certified 82-s. Notice any difference?

DL20K, pictures are to small for me to tell if any match up to a certain VAM. Two things I don't like, A in AMERICA appears to touch wing on some coins, this only happened in 1878. Mintmarks appear to be way to large on some coins. This could be just the pictures. As to toning, I have a half dozen of the same type, these coins are hot, as in fire damage. None of these coins command substantial premiums, I'd pass.

It looks like a modern day bullion coin. I'm not saying it is but it has that look about it. The rose toning looks like that on a couple of Morgans I own. I am not questioning that so much as I am the genuineness of this piece. Alarms are already up on my end. I would pass.
