Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 74806 Posts	Posted 04/29/2019 6:59 pm I found this in a mixed roll, from a bank box of U.S. Pennies. This is my third one! It's the very controversial and higly debated doubled eyelid variety It's in MS BU condition with only some scrapes and coin contact marks on some areas. The memorial steps are very strong and sharply defined. Mint luster is very strong and very reflective, which is typical of a MS BU coin. I examined it and it shows absolutely no signs of circulation. Errers and Varietys. Report this Post to the Staff

As far as debunking it goes, it isn't officially debunked, as they still can't figure out what has caused this abnormality to happen. Some say a Die Chip, while others say a Die Gouge. They don't what caused it exactly, as they can't decide on which one it is. It's pretty much just pure speculation on what caused it. Errers and Varietys. Greasy Fingers Pillar of the Community United States 7068 Posts	Posted 04/29/2019 8:00 pm No matter what or how they list it or not..still a great looking cent for its age..I'd be happy with it,here on the west coast, I'm lucky to find 2 to 3 Phillies from all years to a roll...and then they are pretty beat up and or stained.
