Quote: Only seven districts issued FRBN hundreds, and the print run of 144K for the Minneapolis note was comparatively low.
How about the other six; being a "Nut" with 100's, I have to believe you have obtained some of the others. The MSP (Minneapolis) one is a beauty!

Yes, I have two others. Long story short: About a month ago my computer crashed and I lost all my pics and scans. I wasn't in the cloud (though I am now ), so I've only begun the process of getting a batch from the bank every week and re-scanning both sides of some 500 notes. It's going to take awhile, but eventually I'll show them. To boot, I had tagged my scans once they had been shown on the CCF, and that info is gone as well, so I'll apologize in advance if you've seen any pics before. Meanwhile, from this week's batch, a common 1950 Series note in nice condition, still very affordable almost 70 years after its printing.

I guess this is technically a $100 note. I don't own it but it is for sale at one of the popular sites. Perhaps you recognize the signature.

That's a wonderful piece of history. Tell us how you came to acquire it!

Quote: Tell us how you came to acquire it! Mr. Frog, I do not own it, just came across it at one of the popular online sites recently. Thought about buying it, but passed.

Just under $1,000 gets it done. If you are interested send me a PM and I will give you the link.

Thanks. Always interested in prices. It's really interesting, but I try not to buy things I don't know much about. The trial of Jefferson Davis after the Civil War is a recommended read for those interested in the history of this era. He lived on until 1889 and essentially remained a segregationist until the end of his life.

Common hundred in nice condition from the tail-end of a sale - I was the only bidder at $375.

Two that actually came across the counter to me at my local bank, the light green seal three years ago, and the star note about six months later.
