This one I just can't remember buying and It wasn't that cheap, from the price I wrote on the label. From the label Galeazzo Maria Sforza 1466-1476. According to the Auction house its Rare... but we all know what little that can actually mean. Does anyone have some extra info on it? Report this Post to the Staff

tdziemia Pillar of the Community United States 7955 Posts	Posted 05/05/2019 7:06 pm I am confused. I thought the Sforzas were Milanese. Did Milan rule over Genoa in this period? But at a quick glance, I see a legend in the left photo that begins (serpent) G S DUX etc. This serpent I think is the Sforza's insignia. The legend in the right photo looks like CONRAD REX ROM... The 15 varieties of grosso are on p. 152-53. I believe your coin is #41, with the legends given as follows (my tanslations): Obv :G.S.DVX.MEDIOLA.D.IAN (Galeazzo Sforza Duke of Milan (Mediolanum) and Duke of Genoa) Rev: +.CONRAD.REX.ROMANO.IP: (Conrad King of Rome and Emperor?)
