There's lots of MD going on in here but looking past that I feel like I'm seeing some extra thickness in the motto. What do y'all think?

Actually all what you are seeing is called DDD. (Die-Deterioration-Doubling) Not a doubled die or Machine Doubling, but die wear. The devices move towards the closes rim on the fields not altering the devices.
Date to the right.
LIBERTY to the left side.
Motto on the tops of the devices.
No premium, but a great example of Die Deterioration you can show to a new collector you run into.
Probably the reverse (if the die is the same die state) will be showing the same thing in the directions towards the closest rims.

Are there different types of DDD? There's a ton of ghosting but without the flowlines. It looks like these letters are starting to kind of "deflate". I've seen a few mid to late 80s lmcs do this as well, causing what looks like doubeling. Is this deflation a kind of deterioration or does it have more to do with the Cu plated Zn planchet?

Many thanks for all the feedback!
