Look though the grading section, lots of Lincoln's posted there with opinions. The Red Book gives a general guideline. I also recommend spending some hours looking at the graded Lincoln pics at http://coins.ha.com/?type=-WWW.HNAI.COM

For me, this is the order I look at when grading a Lincoln:

1) Cheek, it's the highest point on the design and shows wear first.
2) Lines in the wheat heads and the seeds in the stalks, the high point for the reverse.
3) Fields, usually the less field hits, the less wear.

If you have any specific questions, post them in the grading forum and we'll do our best to answer them.

If you really want to get into grading Lincoln Cents, try to find a book called "Looking Through Lincoln Cents" by Charles D. Daughtrey. Pages 45 to 72 go into extreame grading methods. This book is usually available on the https://www.coppercoins.com web site or at many coin shows and coin stores. There are also detailed explanations on Doubling and how they occur, die varieties and many photos of all types of cents. I'm not a big coin book person but I do have both editions of that book. It is really educational.
