The 20 in the date is faintly visible. Is this worth anything in this grade

A correctly aligned and cropped image is easier to look at.

A 1920 Buffalo nickel in this condition are a dime a dozen . Sorry to have to burst your bubble .

Sorry, common Buffalos like this with only a partial date are worth very little.

Too bad they didn't use incuse devices for the Buffalo nickel and the Standing Liberty quarters. That would have helped to save a lot of dates from wearing off the coins. But I guess they asked for it on that design. You don't add height to an area where is it already elevated.

There is a way to tell on the 1916-1917 quarters that when the dates wear off, you can still find out which they are:

It might get a grade of AG-03.
