So I was coin roll hunting and came across this wheatie. Appears to have a weak 7 in the date. Can anyone help with this?

Looks like whatever flattened the rim next to the seven probably flattened the seven too. PSD

I've looked at this coin multiple times and never thought it would be damage. I'll try and get better pics. The damage to the rim doesn't seem to align with flatteing the whole 7 as it looks.

Any other plausible explanation, such as a grease-filled die, still leaves this with no premium value, especially given the obverse scratch.

No need for better pictures..of all the people who commented here (myself included) I'd say they have searched through @ 500,000 + cents..if they say it's PMD...it PMD. But to CCF and good luck in future coins..
