So I was coin roll hunting and came across this wheatie. Appears to have a weak 7 in the date. Can anyone help with this?

Looks like whatever flattened the rim next to the seven probably flattened the seven too. PSD

I've looked at this coin multiple times and never thought it would be damage. I'll try and get better pics. The damage to the rim doesn't seem to align with flatteing the whole 7 as it looks.

I do appreciate the feedback tho. I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time. I'm married. Lol.

Damaged at this point. But it is still a Wheatie.

Any other plausible explanation, such as a grease-filled die, still leaves this with no premium value, especially given the obverse scratch.

Looks to me like the tip of the number 5 also got hit.

I agree, just damage on the seven, on the date. PSD.

No need for better pictures..of all the people who commented here (myself included) I'd say they have searched through @ 500,000 + cents..if they say it's PMD...it PMD. But to CCF and good luck in future coins.. @John1...I meant combined...not individually...
