I have searched and found nothing on this coin/washer. Have even lost in parking lot and has been ran over. Obvious denting as a result."top 10 dumbest moments of life" but I am not convinced it's a washer why would there be a line down the middle if it was. Thinking that maybe made out of lead or silver Maybe. Cannot find anything to compare please help.

I could be a curtain weight, but most of those that I have seen are small rectangular bars, so the that they are easily inserted into the bottom hem of the curtain.

they are something I've found several times metal detecting
from all accounts they are commonly called hem weights,, used in women's shirts to keep it weighted at the hem
probably as old as Victorian era
similar to curtain weights mentioned earlier

As ironhorse has mentioned,these are a fairley common metal detecting find.They were used both as dress hem and curtain weights.
