A dealer whom I trade with in a private group offered this lot and I picked it up to expand my collection a bit. It will be fun to go through and ID these once they are here in a few days, but I saw both female and male busts so at least it's a well-represented group if not the highest of grades! In the meantime, here's my ten new little Romans to ponder. I'll attribute them once in-hand. Nice little lot. Would have a value of perhaps $15 each unidentified, but with full identification, could have a value of $30+ each. Can have lots of fun with this sort of lot.

I think that from a romantic standpoint, there's something alluring about coins that clearly were extensively used in the commerce of the day as opposed to going from the mint almost directly into a hoard....

I was able to successfully (!) attribute them all although it took 3-4 hours!
