what do you think the grade is?

Are the scratches on the coin or the holder?

MS63 some of the scratches are on the coin others on the holder. Not sure if it's enough to detail this coin or not.

So you don't know for sure? I don't see how you could be certain just looking at a photo, sharp as it is.

At least MS-66 ,I believe the scratches are on the coin but not bad enough to detail it . Strong strike .

I see it differently. Note chatter in front of ear and scuffing in left obverse field next to stars 4,5 and 6. If the scratches are on the coin I doubt it would straight grade, but if it does, I'll say 62. If the scratches are on the holder, I'll say 64.

MS65. It looks like the two bad scratches are on plastic.

MS-64. I would guess the longer white lines are on the holder.
Rest in Peace

It's a rather pointless discussion, isn't it, until we know where the scratches are. Not sure why Ken has presented the coin this way.

Surely the OP has not purchased this, or the question of the scratch would not be an issue.

Being exacerbated by tilted photos. Should straight grade though they have been really picky of late
