This is my first great find! If it grades even AU it will be worth quite a bit more than xf. It has lots of luster. I will be sending this one to ANACS along with my other finds this week. I'm defiantly gonna trade this one in for a gold coin, which I have wanted for years(my collection is still pretty small). This seller also sent me a pic of a 1921 quarter he says he'll sell for $80, although it does look cleaned. Should I get it?

I'm not sure on the 1921. It may be cleaned, but still...$80? Is the seller trying to lose money?

80$ for a 4-digit 1921 SLQ is pretty good....even if it's been cleaned! You probably could counter him with something like 50 or 60 $ and cite the reason of cleaning as why you won't pay 80. It's no big loss if he doesn't accept.

You are on a roll and way ahead in the game! That 19-S is AU all day long!

I got that 1921 quarter for $70, so I finally have enough coins to send them to ANACS. I'll post pic of them once they get graded.

I'd say the '21 looks EF/AU but most likely cleaned. Wonderful price though!

Keep us informed!

Finally got the right coin! Not in amazing condition, but still a great find for $80 (free if you consider the 1919 D quarter he gave me with it)?
Excellent!

1921 Quarter arrived. Probably cleaned, but hey, it was only $70. Any thoughts on value of the 1919 S Quarter and 1921 Quarter? Also, the date is much stronger and easy to read in person, the lighting is just not super good.

Thanks! I'm sending it to ANACS but want to get a good ballpark to put for its value on the form.

The 1919-S could be $700-850. The 1919-D could be $150-250. The 1921 could be $80-120

Not quite sure on your value for the 1921. This one sold for $350, which is also cleaned and has much less details than mine.

You're right, I looked in the wrong place. I'd put it at AU Details so maybe $600+?
