@CW, first welcome to CCF. Second, your pics are good, but rotated by 90 degrees. I think that this may happen when you take pics with your camera held vertically rather than horizontally. In any case, I think that I see what you are talking about. I'm quite sure that these are actually small areas of damage that are vaguely D-shaped. For your reference, here is a link to the known '52-D RPMs. Typically these mintmarks are overlapping rather than completely separated.

While there are instances where more than more than one mint marks are present, that is not the case with your coin. You are just seeing coin damage. The only way it would be a RPM issue is that it would be made by a punch, appear raised on the coin and could be in different locations.

That's what I'm saying I really dont think it's damage and it is raised just a little bit I'll see if I can get a better pic

Maybe those are a little better pictures the last few are of the same a couple more questionable places on the same coin

It is damage. A contact mark can make waves just like your seeing. Not a RPM issue. Just PSD.
